Does the Sun Burn this Bright For You?

img144

Yep, more film. It’s the same camera I used to take the self portrait that I posted yesterday. For all you youngsters out there It’s time for a little old school photography lesson.

Do you know what the numbers at the top of the image mean?

How about the holes at the top and bottom?

What does Lucky SHD100 NEW mean?

The numbers at the top are used to keep track of the image number. Some cameras use to have window on the back of the camera where those numbers would line up and the photographer would know where he was in his roll of film.

The holes serve two purposes. One, they are used to advance the film.  Two, this is another method camera’s use to keep shot count.

Lucky is the name of the film company. If this had been Kodak or Fuji it would be listed on here. SHD100 is the type and speed of film.  I can only assume that NEW means it is new film. HAHA!
