Can you guess?

I was browsing through some older photos this afternoon, and found an interesting shot.

It reminded me of my favorite game from a childhood magazine. I can’t remember which magazine had this particular game. It might have been Highlights or Disney Adventures. Either way, They posted extreme macro pictures, and the reader was to guess the item in question. I LOVED these. I thought it would be fun to post random macro images from time to time, and see if my loyal readers can guess what they are.

I love games. I figure people out there share my love of puzzles and games. Throw the guesses in the comments. One day, I might make a proper contest out of it, and offer prizes.
